Fair. Book is quite worn with creases on cover. Some separation between front cover and spine. Name written in front of the book, but otherwise pages are clean. Ok as reading or reference copy. Reliable seller. Fast shipping from central Texas. All international orders ship by airmail.
Fair. Book is well read but remains a good reading copy with all of the pages and binding intact. The spine has bends and the cover has wear from reading including rubbing and bends. May have writing or highlighting. Quick response.
Very good. 1078 p. This mass market 50th Anniversary Student Edition which is a 1.5" thick book, sized 4x6.75" Book is clean and has a tiny corner ear bend on the top right corner...and when you turn it over to the back there is also a noticed small full 6.75" slight crease...otherwise this book has no read-creases on the spine. I am sure it has been read, but the reader did not bend the pages back, as in many mass markets. Really a nice copy. there is a donation slip on the front inside ront cover from the Ayn Rand Institute. There is also a card from the ARI with her early photo found in most of her books insert...These are bound with the book and no one even tried to tear it out...heaven forbid. There is an ISBN number which this server does not accept: 978-0-451-23171-0.
Fair. This book is missing a dj. Also the pages are yellowed but very crisp and clean; binding is strong. We are not only impatient and ship immediately, but we also sprinkle a little JOY on each order!
This book, originally published in 1957, retains its relevance for the diagnosis of the ills of Western society in 2014, the poison of postmodernist nihilism, and beyond. It is a prelude to her solution of said problems, her philosophy of Objectivism. It should be read and understood by every thinking person in Western societies. Who is John Galt? It should be all of us!

I got interested in the book after seeing the two films. I am reading the entire book to compare the movie to the book. It is a long book, but I would recommend it to serious readers.
