The abominable snowman, and many others. He coined the term cryptozoology for this field and definitely took himself seriously even if mainstream science did not. This is probably his most influential book. Covers with a bit of extremity wear and a couple of minor bumps. Otherwise clean, sound and bright. The jacket is complete but for a tiny chip at head of spine; spine ends somewhat wrinkled and the spine is very lightly spotted as though by a fine spray. Otherwise just minor edge wear.
This book contains all the original references to most cryptids. These references have been regurgitated over and over in pulp books and magazines and most web articles on the subject of cryptozoology. Well worth getting hold of if you take the subject of Cryptozoology seriously.
