Condition: The binding is generally tight and firm, with some instances of exposed cording. Both inner hinges are strained. The front free-endpaper is missing. There is some wear externally, including bumping, water damage, fading and slanting to the spine, andmarks. Internally the pages are generally bright and clean, with just slight browning to the page edges and the occasional spot. There is a library issue label to the front pastedown, a shelfmark label to the spine, an ink shelfmark to the titlepage, a number of library stamps, and a date stamp to p448. Overall the condition is good only.
