Very good. Aimed at software managers, software engineers and those involved in software quality assurance. It takes as its model a US Public Health Service Handbook, "Control of Communicable Diseases in Man". Condition notes: Some dust soiling to external page edges and possibly some fading to the spine (although white lettering on pink is never the most readable of graphic options). Otherwise, this book is clean, sound and unmarked.
Fine. No Jacket. 8vo-over 7¾"-9¾" tall. "This book is aimed at software managers and software professionals in domains such as software engineering, software quality assurance, and related software topics. The format of ASSESSMENT AND CONTROL OF SOFTWARE RISKS is modeled after a medical handbook, CONTROL OF COMMUNICABLE DISEASES IN MAN. Its philosophy is no doubt similar to the philosophy of the authors of CONTROL OF CIMMUNICABLE DISEASES IN MAN: problems do not go away by themselves. If yow wish to control serious problems, you must find out what the causes are, and you must take active steps toward curing the problems in those already afflicted, and move toward prevention of the problems in the future.
