Near Fine/Near Fine Dust Jacket. 0151639647 119 pages, illustrations throughout, including black and white photgraphs and many color plates. 24 poems by Boris Pasternak are presented in both the original Russian text and the English translation. They are accompanied by by Inga Morath's magnificent color photographs of the places in Russia where Pasternak lived. The translator and editor, Olga Andreyev Carlisle, contributes an introduction and description of her 1960 visit with Pasternak. A Near Fine Large Hardcover, some text pages show darkening to edges of paper from aging, but book is entirely clean, and photography pages (done on better stock) are still bright and shiny. The dust jacket shows only minor edgewear, and is now protected by a mylar wrapper.
