Good+ in heavy cloth covered boards with a black and gilt title block on the spine with dampness stains to the spine. In a good dust jacket with the price intact on the front flap but with the folds worn and a 2" chip from the bottom of the spine area. A record of travel through post-Revolutionary America. Kenneth Roberts was not only a masterful historical novelist, he was also an avid collector of original diaries like his MARCH TO QUEBEC and this account of life in the fledgling US. Full of color, somewhat partisan, but always a delightful read makes this book a great addition to any historical collection.
