This is a book that I use in my kdgt. classroom. We read a few poems about spaghetti, We show spaghetti cooked and spaghetti raw. We write our names with a raw spaghetti stick, by dipping it into paint. We have a song about spaghetti that we sing. This is a darling book for my kdgts. We love it.

Great for young children!!
This book is great for young children anywhere between the ages 2 through 6 or 7. Toddlers and preschoolers love listening to this book because they can easily relate to Mimi and her love of spaghetti. First graders can read the book on their own because it's so simple. What I like about this book is that it teaches children a lesson in addition to being a hilarious rhyming book. My three year old niece LOVES this book (she also happens to LOVE spaghetti) and she has already memorized lines from the book. I wish it came in a big book version to read to a whole class!!
