This is a brilliant, relevant book for anyone who ever ran into financial problems. It gives an honest and supportive tool to break old unsuccessful financial habits and helps the reader discover the underlying reasons why past attempts at financial solvency were unsuccessful. I love Julia Cameron's best-seller, the Artist's Way, and I bought this book because I was curious to see what she has to say about money and finance. In comparison to current financial self-help books, this (somewhat older) book focuses on helping you understand the underlying patterns of why you don't keep your financial commitments to yourself. It offers simple, weekly tools that help you gain your confidence in money and self-discipline, step-by-step. It gives you a mirror of your financial behavior, and helps you look at it objectively, without shame and judgement. I've only read it for five weeks and I have already paid off my credit cards, started a savings account, and reduced my spending to what is truly important. I knew I had to do these things before, but this book gave me the strength and confidence to DO IT!! Thank you, Julia!
