Book has clean, sharp boards with touch of sunning just along upper edges; binding strong and square; moderate uniform toning to clean, unmarked pages. Unclipped jacket has light abrasion along upper and lower edges, somewhat heavier with shallow nicks on rear panel; light rubbing with touches of surface loss along hinges and spine ends; occasional mild scuffing and clouding to silver background of overall clean, bright panels. The publisher's dust jacket is present with the book. 8vo, pp. xii, 140 Former owner's name and year (1955) in ink on front free endpaper-no other markings. A selection from the last poems which Millay, at the time of her death, was preparing for publication, together with a few unpublished poems from an earlier period. Foreword by her sister Norma Millay. Board edges a trifle sunned, else the book is in very good condition. The dust jacket shows the original published price. It is chipped at the edges, with rubbing to the extremities, but still in good serviceable condition.
