In spite of the 2006 printing, for the price all the 9 Chapters were very informative and relevant to today's health writings. The 57 various recipes are a big plus for this paperback book.

Love this book. Easy to follow recipes. I like the size of this book too. Many cookbooks are hefty and inconvenient to carry. This one is small (about the size of a paperback novel) and easy to toss in my bag for grocery trips.


Scientific basis and tastes good too

This book has good basis in science for eating as those in the Mediterranean area do. Emphasizes less red meat, more fruits and vegetables, and use of "good" fats. The best part, though, is the recipe ideas.
