I was delighted to discover that this is a real book. It is referred to in "The Tightrope Walker" by Dorothy Gilman. For years I thought it was as imaginary as I assume the main characters are. But no, it is a real story, an allegory if you will, but also a compelling "quest" tale. Read it & reread it for enjoyment & insight.
