Good. Duodecimo. Bound in green cloth ruled at edges. Gilt title design on spine and on cover, with the title primarily enclosed by a protractor. Bumping to corners, with cloth worn through at each. Head and heel are also bumped, with fraying-more so at head. Edges of text block have light foxing and soiling. Light foxing on half title and title pages. xv, 152 p. with 2 additional pages of ads. and 10 plates. A detailed, step by step work on drawing with instruments by a well known Victorian English illustrator, best known for his book "Familiar Wild Flowers". Humle was the drawing master at Marlborough College at the time of this book, and later became Professor of Freehand and Geometrical Drawing at King's College.
