Very Good in Fair jacket. Book Slender blue book, gold print on the spine, 80 pages. There is a sort of onion skin jacket that has no print at all, jacket has pieces missing, holes, and tears. Small card accompanies book saying it is the 100th anniversary of the Atlantic Mutual Insurance Coimpany. This ship had an 1872 voyage that is one of the few unsolved mysteries of the sea, as of that time. Ship was found abandoned near Portugal.

The 'Mary Celeste' an American merchant brigantine was found adrift and deserted in the Atlantic Ocean, off the Azores Islands on December 4, 1872, in a disheveled but seaworthy condition, under partial sail, with no one on board, and her lifeboat missing. Very good-in blue denim cloth covered boards with faded gilt text on the spine. The cloth at the head and heel of the spine is rubbed and worn and beginning to fray. Without a dust jacket. The trade edition of this title was somewhat abbreviated. 80 pages of test and illustrated with a four-panel, fold-out chart and several photographic reproductions.
