A futuristic comic novel. The dateline is Earth 2050, and it is Rex Mundi's first day working for Buddhavision - so far he's been blown up, narrowly escaped being eaten by upper-class Barbour-clad cannibals and then tortured to death. The author also wrote "The Antipope" and "The Sprouts of Wrath".A futuristic comic novel. Naughty, rude and pokes fun at all sorts of conspiracy theories (and starts a few of its own). Easy read for when reality needs to be suspended and cheaper than alcohol.
I borrowed a copy from my library, enjoyed it so much I bought a copy. No quite Victor Khayam but you get the idea

Brilliant, hilarious and absorbing!!!
Once I started reading this book, I found it hard to stop! Robert Rankin has a unique way to attract and keep your attention with his ingenious phraseology and subtle humour. In almost every line of the book the reader will find themselves taken by the unique descriptions of the author. Moreover, the setting and characters are so vividly conveyed by words that you'll soon have the feeling of being part of the story. No matter how crazy his stories tend to be, you will definitely believe them! I would highly recommend this reading for a mostly enjoyable break from routine!
