Lois Lenski has written a series of books on regions of the US set in the early 1900s. She is a great homeschool or regional study resource for that reason. I bought this book based on that notion- that one of her books was as good as another. This has historically been priced out of my range due to its rarity, but I finally nabbed this copy!
