Pages slightly yellowed. Minor foxing throughout. Top edge gilt. Illustrated with 68 paintings by Ella Du Cane, each reproduction in color and protected with tissue. Blue cloth boards decorated at front and spine with stylized drawing of grape arbor and lake in green, purple and cream with gilt. Lettered in gilt at front and spine. Boards lightly soiled and faded, spine sunned and slightly frayed at top and bottom. Shelf wear to edges, lower corners worn to boards, lower back with some water damage. Binding slightly shaken, but stable. Front hinge cracked but holding, joints good.
Good No DJ. Gilt top page edges. 2nd printing. Front and back covers with a couple of small white spots on the scuffed covers. Top and bottom spine binding is just starting to fray. Rear hinge mostly cracked. Binding is tight. No markings in book. Tissue guards in place throughout the book.
