Fair in Fair jacket. Book shows very light shelf wear to covers only, but has moisture damage that shows in a slight discoloraiton to the covers at the bottom and very slight wave to bottom of text block. Dust jacket shows water damage more and is chipped at corners. Solid binding, text/interior has a few small marks. Previous owner's name on front end paper.
Very Good in Good jacket. Crisp, clean pages except for mild toning around the edges of the endpapers and page block and a scattering of pale purple ink specks at the heel edges; no owners' marks; binding square and tight, full black cloth only mildly shelf-rubbed at spine ends. Jacket bears a pressure mark over, but not obscuring, the price on the front interior flap and shows small edge tears and creases at the spine ends, a few short lines of creasing around head edges, surface chips along the rear foreedge, a small, white printing error at the middle rear, and two short, closed tears at the rear heel edge, along with some corner wear, yet remains overall clean and attractive, now protected in a clear sleeve. 33,  p.,  plates, including color.

DJ has Brodart cover jacket from previous owner, general shelfwear, some edgewear, small tear to corners of front and rear inner flap; Boards have minimal edgewear, small white paint on bottom of edges, otherwise, clean, corners sharp, binding strong; Textblock has red speckles to bottom of fore edge, age toning to front/hear free end papers and paste-downs, apart from that, clean, free of underlining/highlighting; pp 55.
