Very Good. Half gilt-ruled morocco and marbled paper, gilt-stamped lettering and ornament on spine, t.e.g.; small 8vo. Spine sunned and a little dry; some light scuffing along joints and edges of boards. A nice copy, internally bright and clean.
Very Good. Book A well-preserved volume from that foremost of Victorian poets. In this edition, Browning presents his Whitsuntide work on English parochial life; intended to convey a sense of the passionate and pathetic at once. Replete with charming publisher's catalogue. Condition: Bound ingreen cloth. Very smart with some shelfwear only. Embossed bordering and gilt letters to spine. Minimal bumping to extremities. Internally, very firmly bound. Nomnial inscription dated 1947 to blank preliminary. Generally clean withthe odd spot; some dusting, and occasional handling marks. Overall: VERY GOOD INDEED.
