Very Good. No Jacket. Signed Unique copy of this piece from the Afred Whital Stern collection which he donated to the Library of Congress in 1953. This copy is inscribed by Stern to Judge Walter V. Schaefer of the Illinois supreme court and dated Dec 16, 1958. There is also a small Christmas card laid in which Stern tells Judge Schaefer where he purchased the original of these debates and that they became part of his collection of Lincolniana that he donated to the Library of Congress. Black boards covered in protective mylar show very little wear. Inside is clean and tight. Stern inscription is on the free FEP.
