Reading this book for a second time I see that it is wordier than I remember but make no mistake, this book is full of powerful techniques that will make you able to be friends with and or to influence anyone.
I can personally confirm that the techniques in this book work but I have to add the caveat that you should target them at people you really want to be friends with for life because the techniques in this book, if practiced, will make them a friend for life.
What I am saying is do not practice the techniques just to see if they work. They do work but should only be used on people we really like and can see the value of. Otherwise you will get yourself a friend for life that you don't really want Beware.
This book was quoted a lot in Warren Buffet's biography. It has a lot of practical, no nonsense advice. I generally read a self help book as well as a novel daily and I learned some things from this book. Even though its an old book the principles in it are timely and worth pursuing or striving towards.
