A good, clean, hardcover first American edition with corners worn to board, fraying and chipping to cloth of backstrip which is loose along one side; internal hinges and binding tight, paper clean and lightly yellowed. Pages 257-262 have a 1" tear to margin at the fore-edge, does not affect text.
