Julie Garwood is my mother's favorite author. She loves all of her books, and has a special place for her contemporary thrillers, her favorite of which is this book, Heartbreaker. When my mom first mentioned this book to me, I was interested in it. Being Catholic myself, listening to how a serial killer confessed to a priest about his plan to kill the priests sister made the story really come alive in my mind. This book was wonderful from start to finish. It keeps you on the edge of your seat and you never want to put it down for fear that that story will continue while you are gone. This is a fast-paced book and one that I love rereading when I have the time.
