Poor dust jacket. Inscribed by the author in 1977 to another poet, "who has befriended Hazard and his grateful friend the author." Recipient's handmade bookplate front flyleaf; a near fine copy, with the main dust jacket sections clipped and attached to the boards. A nice literary association copy.
Very Good in Good jacket. Signed and Inscribed by Author Signed and inscribed by William Meredith to a named individual on the second (blank) page. A prior owner's name is penned on the top right corner of the front free endpaper, otherwise no owners' marks; pages are crisp, bright and clean except for a very small droplet mark on the top page block edge; binding is secure; the dustjacket bears some wrinkling around the top and bottom edges, with a few short tears accompanying on the top rear edge; there is also a small crease on the top right corner of the front jacket flap, otherwise sound.
