Fair. Size: wb37015; Book is well read but remains a good reading copy with all of the pages and binding intact. The spine has bends and the cover has wear from reading including rubbing and bends. May have writing or highlighting. Quick response.
Very good in very good dust jacket. Price clipped. Bright blue boards, faded at lower spine and along edge. 276 pages, uncut, no marks. Tight, clean copy. Colorful, illustrated DJ depicts farmer tilling the soil with 2 horses. DJ has 2 " tear at lower spine, worn edges with tiny chips. VG for 84 years!
I couldn't put this book about farming "pioneers" in Norway down. I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in historical fiction. There is a reason it won the Nobel Prize. The characters in the story are well developed and you want to keep reading to find out what happens to them.
