And for the past twenty-eight years, things have been tripping along nicely for Cannie. Sure, her mother has come charging out of the closet, and her father has long since dropped out of her world. Jennifer brings her characters to life. Cannie's friends become our friends. Her sorrows becomes ours. In the end, it is all about how we see and accept ourselves. Good read.

Well written. I felt like I was "in her shoes". I'll recommend this one to friends.

Best book I've read in quite a while. Characters were so real and easy to relate to. After reading this book, like an addict, I bought every other book Jennifer Weiner has written. She's my new favorite. I highly recommend this book and all of this author's books (although this one will forever be my favorite)
