John Gierach never disappoints. Information every new fly fisherman should have. He also tells us what is in his fly box.

really good flies
This book, as in Gierach's other books, does not follow the standard method of describing a fly then telling how to tie it. More history is given as are his own experiences with each fly including his personal changes to the fly. An excellent read!
