Anyone who has an interest in the disappearance (spelled crash) of Amelia Earhart and Fred Noonan should give this book a try. The Longs research efforts and documentation are what is truly noteworthy, however, I did not come away with the feeling that they solved the mystery. They also shed some light on Earhart's, all too forgotten navigator, Fred Noonan, who in my opinion did as good a job as a navigator of the time could be expected to do given the selected destination, Howland Island. Conclusion: Well documented but inconclusive theory. The Longs offer up a wealth of information for those trying to still solve the mystery!
