Gavin DeBecker's "Gift of Fear" is definitely a must read for everyone...This book has scads of examples, facts, etc., that one needs in order to gain knowledge of how dangerous situations happen, and how one can perhaps avoid these situations.

I keep re-reading this book. It contains such a wealth of information and advice, and is very well written. Anyone who experiences fear at any level must read this book! It offers tips and tools, as well as sound advice on being smart about how you deal with fear.

I heard about this book on Glen Beck. I'm glad I found it. I've never seen another book like it, that addresses the issue of personal safety and what you can do to increase your protection.
The author owns a Security Co. with celebrity clients, politicians, etc. and really knows his stuff.
