This is the work of a iconoclast. One of the true originals of fashion. His singular timeless vision will be missed on the fashion scene. This is one of the three books on the designer Geoffrey Beene. All three books are currently remaindered and can be purchased used for a ridiculously low price. I own all three. Redundant? No. All three are important in their own right and combined the three books are still not enough of a representation of an amazing career spanning 30 years in fashion.
Sadly, Stella McCartney has already plundered the Beene archives for her AW2011 collection. We need to remember and honor this fashion genius. Beene-iacs unite!
