First edition. Hardcover. An early collection of short stories and one novella from this winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1991. A near fine copy that has an old library stamp on the title page in a very good plus dust jacket that some minor wear and light fading to the spine.
Very Good in Very Good jacket. Fiction. 8vo-over 7¾"-9¾" tall. This is the author's fifth book. She records her intensely perceptive observations of the nuances of human relationships within her beloved country of South Africa. This book is in great shape. The boards are yellow with the spine in black and the lettering in green. The spine is tight and the book does not appear to have been opened. There is a little staining along the edges of the pages. The dust jacket is also in great shape. There is just a little wear along the edges. The spine has faded and there is a scuff mark on the back cover. The jacket is not price clipped and is in new clear protective covering.
