He has been called a rabbi, a rebel, a reformer, a religious teacher, a reprobate sinner, a revolutionary, a redeemer. Some have claimed he was a magician, others the Messiah. Some say he was a deceiver; others say he was divine. Who is this Jesus-Yeshua, and why are we still talking about him two thousand years later? Recently a prominent Orthodox Jewish rabbi presented a new version of Jesus, a "Kosher Jesus" that Jews can accept. By reclaiming Yeshua as a fellow Jew and rabbi, he has taken a very major and truly wonderful step in the right direction, but by re-creating Jesus, he has also robbed him of his uniqueness. "The Real Kosher Jesus" takes you on a journey to uncover the truth. It is a journey filled with amazing discoveries and delightful surprises, a journey that is sometimes painful but that ends with joy, a journey through which you will learn the real story of this man named Yeshua: the most famous Jew of all time, the Jewish nation's greatest prophet, the most illustrious rabbi ever, the light of the nations and Israel's hidden Messiah.Read Less
Acceptable. A book with obvious wear. May have some damage to the cover or binding but integrity is still intact. There might be writing in the margins, possibly underlining and highlighting of text, but no missing pages or anything that would compromise the legibility or understanding of the text.
Good. Connecting readers with great books since 1972. Used books may not include companion materials, some shelf wear, may contain highlighting/notes, and may not include cd-rom or access codes. Customer service is our top priority!
Michael L. Brown has written a very informative
presentation of how Jesus, the Messiah, is revealed in Jewish writings. I asked for this book because I am interested in the Jewish religion and how it fits in with my Christian experience as a believer in Jesus, the Messiah. This work is thoroughly validated with Jewish manuscripts, references to Jewish Rabbis and their comments regarding their view of the Son of God, and many other items of documentation. I strongly recommend this magnificent contribution to any one seeking to know more about Jesus and the Jewish view of his importance in our religious history.
