Don't waste your time with this love affair with the late, great, cornpone president, the likely motive force behind the assassination of John Kennedy. I well remember Lyndon Johnson as president, one of the most disgusting human beings to ever walk the earth.

by James K on May 10, 2012

This nearly 700 page tome by a talented historian is worthwhile for those readers who want an inside glimpse of Johnson's White House years. Great inside stuff about the machinations of a true political genius, but as the title suggests, LBJ was flawed.
