Two items laid in: two sheets foolscap carbon copy 'A Practical method of obtaining the reading addition to be used in cases of presbyopia'; and an early photograph apparantly of a 19th century of very early 20th century schoolgirl aged 15-20. Pencil marks throughout text, boards soiled and worn with some softening at upper and lower ends near spine, bumped corners, etc. A heavily used book.
