Going through each decade of the twentieth century from the 1920s on, this book highlights what influenced the things that showed up on our collective plates. Sometimes really yummy and deserving a comeback, sometimes revolting at just the thought. There are recipes, period artwork, quotes from authors of period literature, and quite humourous prose connecting it all. A delicious read!
