This copy is in as new condition, with the book unopened, and unread. Some minor shelf wear to box, otherwise as new. Ossorio, born the son of a Filipine sugar magnate, was influenced by Surrealism and Dubuffet's art brut. He was a major personality in the artworld of the Hamptons at mid-century, hosting artists like de Kooning and Pollock at his home, "The Creeks, " in East Hampton. A good overview of the work of Ossorio over a 50 year period.
