DJ spine has gray background with centered ivory title, author on black band and publisher logo at tail. heavy rubbing to the front/rear both illustrated, chafing shows on the original red and black colored cover. clipped front inner flap. burgundy clothbound HB with centered gilt title, author and publisher with thin beaded gilt lines. blind stamped upper left board, light bumping to spine ends and pushed in corner points. blue ink signature of previous owner in upper right of fep. ivory textblock with minimal wear, no blemishes. age-toned edges with grayishness. 322 pp. Rockville.
Very Good in Very Good jacket. B000Q6PTCM New York, 1951. From the library of Daniel Bell, with a few of his notes on rear endpaper and pastedown in pencil else near fine. In a very good minus jacket with some chipping to top of spine, edgewear and closed tears. Still attractive, in mylar.
