Book has been inspected for you and there is NO printing history from this publisher: Barse & Hopkins of NY. The cover is tan, has a blind stamp type decorations and actually only the spine is damaged. The rest of the cover shows bumbs and scuffs and the inside is very tight. This printed reminded me of the Roycrofters Publishing House in Aurora, NY in style such as the title page has that wide 1/2 to 1" border around the title, etc. Book is not as bad as Poor Condition indicates, but the thing is over 150 years old. Endpapers in front show one previous owners last name in 'real' ink lettering and back endpapers are clear of marks. The front has an inlaid gold title 1/3 inch up. Size measures: 4.25 x 7 x about 1/8th....Enjoy. We also hae Barrett's of Wimpole Street if interested. On With Jennifer Jones. Please bear eith in on this...the date above is of the play 1855...I am not at all sure of the actual date of this booklet but we can figure it out since this is a tiny little thing and later I'll run down from other souces the actual date of the original publication and it's history. Will that be okay for the time...inquiries are encouraged on ths book.
