VG (cover shows minimal wear and age) White stapled wraps, 28 pp., BW illus. An advertisement piece, published by the Towle Silversmiths ("Sterling Silver Exclusively"). This is a presentation copy from A. Stowell & Co. of Boston to a Miss Kathryn Clark of Boston. Her name has been printed with type at the bottom of the front cover. A personalized and inscribed letter from Emily Post to Miss Clark, dated March 27, 1931 and on Emily's embossed stationery, is included. The letter directs the reader to Emily's book on etiquette, if any questions remain unanswered by this booklet. It also advises the reader to "go to the shop of the jeweler through whose courtesy this book is sent." Interesting not only for the booklet's contents, but also for the early direct marketing strategy at a time before it could be labelled as such.
