Small book, about 5 inches tall and 5.75 inches wide, dark blue cloth, decorative endpapers, no dustjacket. Covers rubbed with additional scuffing to the extremities, half a beverage glass ring on the front cover, good hinges, sound text block, numerous little finger smudges to title page and opposite blank, otherwise clean pages free from names or other markings.
Very Good in Good jacket. 1st Printing. This is a great, FIRST EDITION copy of this famous book, still in it's original dust jacket. The date 1955 is shown on the title page and the copyright page with no other printing shown (i.e. 1955 First Edition). The original price on DJ flap says $1.50. This old book with dust jacket is clean, solid, and in great shape. This is a hardcover book with 46 pages including several illustrations. The binding is strong with all pages firmly attached. The pages are clean with no soiling, writing, or tears. The dust jacket shows some light soiling and edgewear and a couple short closed tears (No Chips). The DJ has been placed in a fresh mylar jacket.
