Very Good- No Jacket. Book Criticizes the theories of Sigmund Freud, noting that by stressing sex, he aroused the curiousity of a decadent generation, and that his studies "capture the ignorant by means of mysterious gestures and suggestion, and induce in the weak a feeling of self-importance". Minor exterior wear, including faint moisture mark on the bottom of the spine.
Very Good/Good. Octavo, 8 1/2" tall, 317 pages, illustrated endpapersmaroon cloth. A very good, clean, sturdy hard cover with minor shelf wear; hinges and binding tight, paper lightly yellowed. In a good, edge worn dust jacket with several edge tears and (sadly) a large 4" x 3" piece missing from the top of the front panel sppoiling the artwork.
Very Good in Good jacket. 8vo-over 6¾"-8¾" Jacket illustration and end papers by Artzybasheff. The dust jacket is rubbed with shallow chipping and now has a removable mylar cover. The previous owner's book plate is on the flyleaf of this book.
