Great book, easy read. You will be motivated to change the way you eat after reading this. Made me realize how bad GMO wheat products are. I eat healthy, am not overweight, don't eat junk food or processed, packaged foods. Yet cutting out all gluten I lost 4 pounds in 9 days. It's amazing how much gluten is hidden in the things we eat. For someone who is overweight or has medical issues I really believe being gluten free will help with both because it's an opportunity to eat healthier. The book is interesting, comprehensive and has helpful menus.

Fascinating

I'm still reading. The story is compelling and well documented. It's a little hard to believe--it seems sorta "unAmerican" to contemplate not eating wheat (after all, "amber waves of grain"). But the claimed health and weight benefits are large, even for people without acute allergies. I will surely finish this book and probably seek other sources of information while I continue to ponder.
