Spine is slightly sun faded, softened at ends and has @1/4' rip on bottom. Faint age soil to outside page edges. Interior as new. Author's credentials include Assistant Professor at Cornell University Medical College and service at Bellevue, Beth-David and Central Islip Hospitals in NY, the US Public Health Service and the US Veteran's Bureau. Very good. 2v., ill., 26 cm. 1, 202 pages THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL SET OF VOLUMES. Korean Green base full cloth with a black, and gold for title area. Clean endpapers (except for the signed area to Dr. Robert Christman, by the author dated 1954. No marks noticed and I looked. Vol.1. 544p. -Vol.2: .545-1202p. Previous ed.1948. Clean back endpapers. This 2-set weights 7.69 pounds not yet wrapped. There are hundreds of illus. x=rays, illus and photosgraphs. I have no clue of the number count on the illus. but it has to be in the hundreds.
