Many events of the earliest days of Boston are recounted, starting with the Puritans, with many a tale of revolutionary times. Stevens writes of the famous and the little-known with equal verve, both when it comes to people and events. Also included is a copy of FORTY OF BOSTON'S IMMORTALS, which, unfortunately, is missing two "Immortals, " since one page has been torn out. This is a publication of the State Street Trust in Boston, 1910.
