Excellent math reference for engineers
The difference between the latest edition and the previous one is a chapter on complex analysis.

Engineering Must Have
For the past nine years, I have heard about how much my father-in-law missed this one book that he left in his land lady's attic in Boston when he left MIT for the real world of work in NYC. The first edition was what Mark, Sr. remembered from college. At family gatherings (the entire family are engineers) this story always surfaced.
Another part of the story was the fact that my husband had the same book (a different edition) approximately years later when he was taking an engineering course at Caregie Mellon University.
So, Mark, Sr. and Mark Jr. both say how wonderful and useful the book is. It's a wonderful reference book useful after college. Daughter/Sister Melanie said that she also used this book in her studies and work at Oakridge.
