My daughter read this book, she has lots of shade. She said the book is well written,and informative. She also says that it is written with a sense of humor and fun to read.

This book has good info on plants to use in shady spots. Even better, the author tells how to move established shrubs and plants to make a better planting. And best of all is his diagram of how to prune -- no one has ever made it seem so simple and doable.
