Very Good. 399 pages, 210 wood engravings, list of illustrations, index, all page edges gilt, brown cloth over beveled boards with gilt titles, front board and spine lavishly decorated in black and gilt, rear board embossed. Spine ends softened, corners curved and beginning to fray, hinges slightly weakened, contents near fine. Brick and mortar bookshop since 1975!
