Chlorine is Poison
Any one recommending that you put Clorox in your drinking water cannot be considered a reliable source for survival info.
Chlorine is a deadly poison banned from use even in warfare since the 1922 Geneva Conference.
It reacts with water to produce trihalomethene, a proven carcinogen. Few countries outside America use it to "purify" water. The only purifying comes from a nascent oxygen atom which is kicked out in the chemical process creating the trihalomethene.
Oxygen does the purifying and there are much better and cleaner ways to introduce oxygen into your water supply, including ozonization.
Chlorene is a waste by-product of the chemical and weapons industries, and if they didn't sell it to our municipal water providers, they would have an expensive hazardous waste disposal problem on their hands. This way they turn a liability into a profit, and in the process futher debilitate the American public, which serves our masters' interest.
A sick population does not revolt.
Americans, and even their pets, have the highest cancer rates in the world. I believe chlorinated water is the primary culprit.
So deliberately adding it to ones rainwater or well water is counterintuitive to survival.
