I do not see what everyone is raving about with this book. I am about 200 pages into the book and it is hard to read, hard to follow, there is no time line of what is happening and the time frames keep changing. I had to read next to the computer to continually look up events, people and timelines ...

I loved this book but it wasn't an easy read. Fortunately Ms Mantel included a list of characters and their various locations and connections. Some readers have difficulty with Mantel simply using the third person pronoun whenever Cromwell speaks instead of identifying him as Cromwell. I liked it ...

Wolf Hall is for anyone who enjoys historical fiction. Mantel creates the world of Cromwell vividly. I can't wait to read the next volume of this trilogy.
