Everything you wanted to know about Lowell

This is an excellent book that thoroughly covers the development of waterpower at Lowell, Mass. There are useful illustrations, but the photos don't reproduce very well in the paperback format. Readers should also be aware that the book does not cover the social and political aspects of the textile industry in Lowell.
