This is a excellent devotion book. The condition of this devotional was excellent. No markings at all.

I have enjoyed this devotional for years and mine is all marked up. I have gone over it and over it for about 15 yrs in my devotion times. I have done others during this time but I go back to Oswald Chambers. This copy is for giving to someone who will enjoy it--that is how much I love this as it is chocked full of in depth how to love Him each morning and also how to become like Christ.. It is not like the typical celebrity shallow stuff this is meat. You will enjoy it if you are a serious follower of Christ.

Life Changing To Those Who Need More

by Grahamguy on Sep 17, 2010

I had this book with me for several years. I believe it was a hand me down from my grandfather. I would read it occasonally skimming through to find some cute phrase that would mean something to me. However, there were many phrases I didn't understand. I could not relate. I did not know why until I fell into crises in my life, troubles that would boggle the mind. As I began to read this book, the words became alive and I began to understand more and more to such a point I would throw the book from me for fear. "this could not be" "how does he know these things?" I would say in my mind. But I would come back to it and the words are alive and give me new spiritual meaning. My teenage son is now consuming this book and reading other books from one pastor that influenced this man such as Charles Spurgeon. Here is my advice. Don't read it unless you mean business with God.
